Mumbai’s Most Stylish 2013 winner Nikhil Chib talks to Hindustan Times about fashion, style, an icon he looks up to and much more.
How would you define your style quotient?
Comfortable, conventional and slightly awkward.
When did you identify your particular style?
With a pair of acid wash jeans in the ’80s.
One outfit that never fails you?
White shirt and denims with sneakers.
One outfit you’d never agree to wear?
Hot shorts and pastel suits.
Who is your favourite style icon?
Jean Michel Basquiat had pretty cool style, though on the contrary, I also appreciate the slickness of Cary Grant.
