While celebrities make heads turn on red carpets with their nifty attires, their hairdos, too, never fail to grab attention either. But assuming that replicating those hairstyles will be a task, especially without the assistance of a hairdresser, is a mistake. A few handy products and some simple do-it-yourself steps are all that you need to do up your hair in style.

Anna Kendrick: The Wavy Chignon
This bubbly star balances her look with a sophisticated chignon that complements her smoky eyes and chunky accessories. You can try this with chandelier earpieces as well.

How to do it:
* Prep your hair first with shampoo and conditioner.
* Using rollers create waves.
* Brush out the hair with a paddle brush.
* Create a side parting from the ear and pin it out.
* Gather the rest of the hair behind into a mid-ponytail.
* Split the pony into two and start braiding each part.
* Secure it with an elastic band.
* Twist the two plaits around each other to form a knot. Pin it into place.
* Bring the right side up and over the top of the bun into the desired position. Repeat on the other side.

Sienna Miller: The Uber Pout
Miller's intricate hairdo perfectly complements her dress with minute detailing. The entire style is very telling of her personality. Opt for this do when you have time at hand. This is a classy style that looks perfect with saris.

How to do it:
* Prep your hair first with shampoo and conditioner.
* Tease it up and section the hair from the centre.
* Give it some volume and texturise it.
* Start making braids on both sides.
* Pin each behind using bobby pins.

Dakota Johnson: The Bouffant Ponytail
Fringes are always a wee bit tricky to be styled for the red carpet, but Johnson keeps it simple with a ponytail here. Do make sure you pair this with a bold lip colour just like the actress did.

How to do it:
* Prep your hair with shampoo and conditioner.
* Blow dry your hair inwards.
* Tie the back section into a rough ponytail.
* Pull the middle section into a bun and secure it with a couple of bobby pins. Use hairspray for extra hold.
* Unfasten the rough ponytail and comb back the front section of your hair over the bun.
* Secure it into a neat ponytail. Use hairspray to keep it in place.
* Pull a small amount of hair from the ponytail, wrap it around the base to hide the elastic, and secure it with bobby pins.
* Straighten fringe to make it poker straight using a flat iron.
