Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto seems to have finally found her space in Hollywood — not just in films but in bonding with stars too. While none of her films are being screened at Cannes this year, the 27-year-old actor is at the 12-day gala as a cosmetic brand’s ambassador.
On Day 2 of the film extravaganza, Freida shared the same red carpet as actors Jane Fonda and Eva Longoria, and shutterbugs missed no opportunity to capture her antics with the 74-year-old Fonda, who seemed to thoroughly enjoy her company. Freida sported a lime green Atelier Versace gown, and completed her look with a box clutch and cream peeptoe pumps when she arrived on the red carpet for the screening of the film, De rouille et d’os.
In the evening, the actor put on a white Paco Rabanne dress, for which she got rave reviews from the critics, who said that the dress “looks so much better on her than it did on the runway.” In fact, the petite actor of Indian origin is leaving the fashion police gawking with her choices at the fest, this time. On Day 1 too, she wowed with a strapless Michael Angel peplum gown followed by a black Versace number for the evening dinner.
