Have you been following the 100 years of Beauty Series on YouTube? If you haven't, the latest installment from the series is most likely to get you hooked. The spotlight, this time, is upon 100 years of Indian beauty.
Starring model Trisha Miglani, the film takes us on a tour of Indian beauty trends over the past century. It kicks off with a barefaced look and a colorful sari for the 1910s, before getting more glam with a braided updo, and red lipstick for 1920s.
Further bling is added for the 1930s, with addition of a nose ring. Fast forward to the 1960s, and there’s a beehive hairdo, winged eyeliner. Things are a lot more footloose for the seventies, while punk is the order of the day for 1980s. The video ends with a breezy look for 2010s, and has garnered 2.7 million views till now.
