Students had a great time whooping and dancing at HT City’s Fresh On Campus party in Jesus and Mary College.

The hottest freshers’ party in town — HT City’s Fresh on Campus — reached one of the most happening colleges of Delhi University: Jesus and Mary College (JMC). The party had both the freshers and seniors enjoying to the fullest.

Twenty young and vivacious damsels danced to the tunes of Chikni Chameli, Angreji Beat and Dope Shope, walked the ramp and participated in a Q&A session to contend for the Veet Diva of the Day title. First year student Jyoti Lohia, who pulled off a fabulous belly dancing act, was declared the winner. Those who could not become part of the contest were given a chance to win the Tata Nano Coolest Fresher title. Srishti Suneja, a first year BA student bagged the title.

Belly dancing was the flavour of the party, with both the freshers and seniors flaunting their moves. The song 'Mashallah' from Ek Tha Tiger was one of the most popular numbers among all the ‘Shakiras of JMC’ in the making. RJs Suhas and Manu of Fever 104 FM gave a humorous twist to the event with their banter.

Twenty beauties with brains participated in the Veet Diva of the Day contest. After a ramp walk, talent round and a Question & Answer session, Jyoti Lohia, a first year student, was crowned the winner through unanimous voting from judges and the crowd.
"It feels great to become the chosen one. I am overwhelmed. What a start to college life! I am now looking forward to all the good things that are in store for me." said Jyoti Lohia.
