Daily wash: Hair should be washed after frequent intervals during monsoon, as delay could lead to oily scalp, excessive hair fall, dandruff and roughness.
For extra bounce: Oily hair tends to become limp and greasy during the monsoon and requires shampoos that will give volume to the hair. Natural extracts like rosemary can give extra bounce and vitality to limp hair.
Stay frizz-free: Conditioning is very important. A good conditioner smoothens out the hair, making it easy to manage. To combat frizziness, use anti-frizz serum.
No styling: Avoid using hair styling products such as mousse, hair gels and wax. These become ineffective when in contact with moisture-laden air, and act as dust magnets in a storm, working your hair into a dry, frizzy, tangled mess.
Wash off the rainwater: If you get caught under a cloudburst make sure you wash your hair with a shampoo and lightly condition when you get back home.
