Rohit BalHe was welcomed with an applause much louder than what he’s used to hearing. Still no one was surprised. After a hiatus of nearly three months post his massive heart-attack , the fashion czar Rohit Bal is back on the circuit. On Thursday, Bal, or Gudda as he’s fondly called, unveiled Outlander, his new collection, inspired by the SUV model.

Looking visibly frail, Gudda kept up with his usual flamboyance and got a standing ovation when he came dancing on the ramp, surrounded by leggy beauties and boyfriend Lalit. “I am very excited... this is where I truly belong. Nothing has changed... except I have lost 12 kgs!” he told HT City.

Delhi’s swish set came in full strength to make his comeback moment special. “The show was simply superb and no one could have done it better than Rohit,” said designer Rohit Gandhi. “It is great to see Gudda back in action. I wish him best of heath... hope he continues doing the great work he excels in,” said designer JJ Valaya.

After the show that ended with him announcing “Yes I’m back with a bang.” Bal, in a black velvet jacket, could be seen hugging each and every guest.
