Ramp is set, models have been chosen, designers have done all kinds of detailing for the upcoming fashion fiesta. But every thing has just stopped and that too days before the big fashion jamboree.

As if the formation of three different organisations (FDCI, FFI and FDPC) and two clashing fashion weeks was not enough, Fashion Design Council of India, has landed in the legal soup with its event management company Edelman PR.

The event management company has been managing fashion week for FDCI for many years, but suddenly money matters have led to cracks in this solid partnership.

According to a source, "FDCI has not paid the long standing amount, which is quite huge and that too despite constant reminders through emails. How can we work if we are not getting paid."
