The fashion world is gearing up for yet another five-day extravaganza. Reports indicate that the dates for the second edition of the Delhi Couture Week have been finalised and it is all set to kick off on July 20.

Earlier this week, the organisers, Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), sent a letter to all its members asking for expression of interest to participate at the five-day event, which is expected to take place in a five-star hotel in Central Delhi.

However, when contacted, the organisers choose to remain tight-lipped about the dates and the plans for the upcoming event.

The five-day couture week is likely to feature some of the country’s top couture designers, such as Tarun Tahiliani, Suneet Varma and Anamika Khanna, among others.

A heavy Bollywood attendance is also likely, going by last year’s example. In the 2010 edition of the Delhi Couture week, actors Rani Mukerji, Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Vidya Balan and several other stars were spotted on the ramp and in the front row.
