Julian Assange never fails to surprise, does he? The Australian founder of WikiLeaks may not be known for his fashion sense, but he is reportedly planning to take part in the London Fashion Week this September, as a model.
The 42-year-old is likely to walk the ramp for English fashion designer Vivienne Westwood’s son, Ben Westwood, at a fashion show at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. Assange has been holed up at the embassy for two years now and his supporters say this will help them raise the world's awareness about his plight.
“I want to highlight Julian Assange’s plight. What happened to him is totally unfair," The Independent, reported Ben Westwood as saying.

Westwood also told the Daily Mail that his collection was influenced by the costumes Clint Eastwood wore for his western films. Reports say that Assange – who will be joined by six models during his catwalk outing – has also inspired some of the clothes.
The show will be a fringe event for London Fashion Week, reported Daily Mail. Its soundtrack will come by way of music from The Good, The Bad And The Ugly.
Hollywood actor George Clooney and his lawyer fiancee, Amal Alamuddin — who has acted as part of Assange’s defence team — have also been invited to attend, according to reports.
