Supermodel Kate Moss is reportedly signing up the new series of The X Factor as the celebrity “style and image” mentor.
The 35-year-old catwalk queen, who’s a huge fan of the show, was apparently approached to judge it but due to her busy schedule, Moss is likely to mentor the acts during the finals.
“Simon and Kate became friends after the last series. He thinks she is a great girl and wants her to do something on the show but there’s a clash with scheduling and her diary so she won’t be able to commit to being a judge,” the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.
“The idea is that she could be executive stylist and dress the finalists and teach them about deportment and confidence on stage.
“She wouldn’t just dress them and leave them to it, though – shots of her advising them would feature heavily,” the source added.
Moss was last year present in the audience of one of the final live shows. She has since expressed great interest in the talent it produces and has also befriended winner Alexandra Burke after the series ended.
