Here are some tips on how to take care of your skin.
Never to step out of your home without applying sunscreen on all exposed parts of your body. Choose a waterproof sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30. Also keep your face and hair covered with a cotton stole. Avoid wearing sleeveless tops when you have to spend a lot of time under the sun.
Watermelon is an excellent remedy for treating sun burns. Apply watermelon pulp on your face and leave on for 15 minutes. Wash off with cold water.
Homemade face pack:
Sugarcane juice contains alpha hydroxy acids that help get rid of stubborn sun tans. Mix calamine powder with sugarcane juice and apply on your face. Dab sugarcane juice on your face when the pack dries and wipe off with cottonwool.
Sugar scrub helps detan your skin and also make it soft and supple. Grind sugar and add a few drops of lavender oil. Mix well and apply on your face. Scrub gently in circular motions for a few minutes and wash off with cold water.
Make a body wrap by mixing sea salts, dried rose petals and almond oil. Apply generously on your entire body and leave on for five minutes. Massage well and take a cold shower. It will have a soothing impact on your body, and also help get rid of dead cells and lighten tanning.
