Setting up the right mood for spring is a one-of-its kind exhibition, which will be held in Delhi for the first time. After being called Kolkata’s most stylish event, Savoir Faire, now forays into the Capital with exhibits ranging from fashion designs, jewellry, paintings, bags and footwear.

“The exhibition is unique in its own way. Since each artist and designer has his/her own style and speciality, the product that they have come up with is very special,” says Gauri Bajoria, director, Savoir Faire.

The exhibition will be showcasing designs by renowned fashion designers such as Nachiket Barve, Rohit Bal, Prashant Verma, Niki Mahajan, Hemant and Nandita, among others.

The show will also feature spring/summer designer wear. “We are going to present Indo-Western and spring/summer holiday wear at the show. We have used flowing material, which is ideal for this weather,” says Hemant. “This is how artists from different fields of design get a chance to come together and showcase their expertise on a common platform,” he adds.

Artwork by artisans from Studio Kishangarh, headed by Princess Vaishnavi Kumari, will be presented in the paintings section. Through this exhibition, the Princess endeavours to bring Kishangarh miniature paintings to a more global audience.

While the jewellry section features designs by jewellry designers such as Poonam Soni and Queenie Dhody, the bags category will see names like Lovetobag and Meera Mahadevia display their products. Footwear by Rohan Arora will also be presented.

“The exhibition presents a best pick from each designer or artist,” says Bajoria, who is also the head of the fashion label, GAURIBAJORIA, India.
