Metallic sheen seems to be a trend that will be strong in the coming Fall fashion. After Ro hit Bal treated us to ensembles in shades of metals, designer Mandira Wirk gave a glimpse of her Fall/Winter 2008 collection ‘Metallic Luxe' at Kylin .

The most interesting part of Wirk's collection for the forthcoming Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week is the amalgamation of structured form with that of fluid drapes. Her styles were a blend of modernity with classic. A fitted skirt paired with voluminous top cinched at the waist with a belt was chic.

The use of jersey in her collection and mutton-leg sleeves on a puffball dress were interesting. All-over sequin work, Greco-Roman drapes and patch work on ensembles in muted gold and silver made the collection look ur bane. She has ventured into acces sories with bags and shoes that complemented the outfits.
