A huge celeb turnout
Manav Gangwani’s show created enough hype because of many celebrity attendees. From Robert Vadra, who was seen on the front row, to Bollywood entourage that included Zayed Khan, Fardeen Khan, Rahul Khanna, Soha Ali Khan, Sophie Choudhary and Dino Morea, were seen soaking up some fashion.

‘Bollywood has a borrowed style’
Model Lakshmi Menon who has walked for fashion biggies like Hermes and Jean Paul Gaultier, came to watch Meera-Muzaffar Ali’s show. On Bollywood presence at the couture week, Menon said: Bollywood stars don’t have their own style, it’s all borrowed. It’s great to be attending the show as audience and not model.

Kamasutra connect
Designer Suneet Varma’s show opened with an erotic dance performance from Natya Nectar dancers — Hari and Shobhika. It made the audience sit up and take notice. However, Varma said he wanted the dance performance to take place under actual rain shower on the stage.

Only for my friend
Model Jesse Randhawa walked specially for designer Manav Gangwani. She said she only catwalked for him because Gangwani is a close friend and had made a special request. Looks like Gangwani’s friends are all out to show their support at the Couture Week.
