Mullet dresses are sweeping the fashion floor with their regal charm and elegance. Often described as ‘business at the front, party at the back’ style, mullet dresses have a short hemline at the front and a long trail at the back.

Fashion-forward
A-listers, including actor Sarah Jessica Parker, singer Selena Gomez, and closer home, actor Bipasha Basu, among others, have been bitten by the mullet bug, as they made stunning appearances in a mullet dress. The leg-baring mullet dress looks very sexy, but it can be a little tricky trend to pull off.

Designer Jyoti Sharma says, "Mullet is everyone’s favourite at the moment, and it looks best when worn with heels.”

Designer Abhishek Dutta says, “Mullet looks great on someone with long and toned legs. It’s best paired with accessories in contrasting colours such as a red pair of shoes or a neon-coloured clutch with black, ivory or silver mullet dress.” If you’re not a very dress person, you can try out mullet skirts.

“If you're heading for a party, pair a mullet skirt with a glam top and slim belt. Ankle strap sandals or smart boots will look interesting too. If you don’t have great spot-free legs, wear skin-coloured stockings,” says stylist Mahima Shukla.
