1 Wear sunglasses: Wearing sunglasses in summers protects your eyes from the harmful UV rays. The area under your eyes is very sensitive, hence it is prone to getting darker due to sunburn and heat. Avoid buying glasses from local street as it can harm your eyes. Instead, opt for good quality sunglasses with a wider frame in order to cover your eyes completely.
2 Apply sunscreen: Use of sunscreen in summers is a must. While applying sunscreen on your face, keep in mind to protect the area around your eyes with an extra layer of it. The idea behind applying sunscreen near your eyes is to protect the complexion of the area surrounding it. Sunscreen also helps you to protect your eyes from wrinkles.
3 Clean regularly: Eye care in summer demands cleanliness too. Try and keep your eyes clean by washing it 5-6 times a day with cold water. Also to relax further, you may also use rose water as it is an excellent coolant. The rose water acts as an anti-bacterial tonic for your eyes.
4 Cucumber/potato touch: Cucumber has a miraculous formula for instantly relaxing your eyes. Pampering your eyes with a slice of cucumber before going to bed can make you feel relaxed. It helps to lighten the dark circles under your eyes. You can also use sliced potatoes for your eyes.
5 Drink lots of water: In summers your eyes need excessive water and moisture, hence consuming 12 to 14 glasses of water gives natural shine to your eyes.
6 Herbal eye drops: During summers your eyes might get red and dry due to heat, so you can make use of herbal drops that are easily available in the market to treat this eyes condition.
