About him...
Gaurav Rai is a fashion design graduate and master in manufacturing technology. His approach to design is quite experimental. Belonging to a family whose roots lay in fabric making, it comes as no surprise that Gaurav discovered his true calling in making art with fabrics. He has started his own brand, Gaurav Rai, under which, products such as dupattas, unstitched fabric sets and woven sarees are retailed. They have also launched a new designer collection, Chandi ke Taar, which is a collection of rare and exotic kanjeevaram and uppada sarees, woven using real silver threads coated with gold.
