Candice Pinto, Model
The Mumbai girl with an instantly recognisable walk, model Candice Pinto reveals some of her hair and make-up secrets. Hair I go to a parlour called Glory in Bandra, where a stylist called Afifa has been cutting my hair for seven years. I used to have really good hair, but after so many fashion weeks, I’ve lost most of it. My stylist recommended I use Mahabhringraj oil, which I do at least once a week, and a hot oil massage once a month.
Make-up
I’ve been blessed with good skin, so I have stuck to using a basic Nivea cream for the last 15 years. When I’m travelling, I add a little concealer, pink gloss and mascara. I buy my products from a store called Beautiful in Khar.
Clothes
There are very few places in India that I go to when I need to shop. Luckily, most of my siblings live abroad, so I’m constantly gifted clothes. I don’t own much designer wear apart from some outfits by Wendell Rodricks.
