With tuxedo suits, ties, bow ties or more casual looks, here’s a round-up of this year’s menswear highlights from the Cannes red carpet.

George Clooney

The Cannes fortnight’s most glamorous couple, George and Amal Clooney, were partners in crime when it came to red carpet style. The actor highlighted his stunning spouse’s silk chiffon Atelier Versace gown by slipping into a chic black & white tuxedo.

Ryan Gosling

The Canadian actor stood out by shunning the traditional black or dark blue tuxedo in favor of a white jacket with midnight blue pants. This Gucci get-up couldn’t have suited him better.

Usher

The R’n’B singer-turned-actor caused a sensation on the Cannes red carpet in this gray suit and matching shirt, worn tie-free for a more laid-back feel.

Guillaume Canet

Like his partner, Marion Cotillard, the French actor and director dressed in Dior to tread the red carpet in Cannes. He wore a classic single-button tux in black wool and silk, designed by Dior Homme.

Javier Bardem

The Spanish actor stepped out in a Gucci midnight blue satin tuxedo to walk the steps to the Palais des Festivals.

Gaspard Ulliel

The French actor looked more chic than ever, matching his two-tone tux with an 18K “Monsieur de Chanel” white gold watch.

Xavier Dolan

The Canadian director, who won this year’s “Grand Prix,” made his speech in a midnight blue tuxedo and matching tie from Louis Vuitton.

Jesse Eisenberg

The American actor stepped out in a black Louis Vuitton tux with a white shirt and a black bow tie for the festival’s opening ceremony.

Michel Hazanavicius

The French director and screenwriter looked particularly elegant on the red carpet in this Prada suit.

Baptiste Giabiconi

The French model stood out in an instantly recognizable Balmain jacket at the amfAR charity gala.

Louis Garrel

The French actor and director walked the steps to the Palais des Festivals wearing a classic but chic tuxedo by Maison Valentino and accompanied by the dazzling Marion Cotillard.
