Day three of the India Resort Fashion Week in Goa displayed vibrant yet relaxed elegance. The India Resort Fashion Week that was held in Goa (December 7-11) was all about sensuous and playful yet laid back fashion.
On day three, designer Pria Kataria Puri presented her resort collection Persian punk that used Persian prints to create a sexy, nomadic feel. The designer teamed luxury with comfort with outfits such as kaftans, robes with bikinis, one sided cape dress, harem pants and jumpsuits with frayed ages, and jumpsuits with one-sided kaftan sleeves.
The silhouettes were free flowing, and the fabrics soft, and the colour palette include black, gold, orange, mustards bright red green. Another highlight of the collection were sexy accessories such as gold bling bands. Dhara Thakkar Baroque's collection was all about exuberance and grandeur. One saw a mélange of the old and the new, while the colours used were exotic yellow, mustard, red, orange, royal blue, purple with a dash of white and black. Free flowing silhouettes with elements such as ruching, frayed hemlines, gathers, cowls empire cuts with twisted sleeves lend the collection an uber cool touch.
Babita Malkani’s Beach Bonita, was playful and glamorous, inspired during a holiday at the Spanish island of Ibiza. Models sashayed down the ramp in Palazzos jumpsuits, drape dresses, dresses and kaftans.
