Making of Style In The City
Shaken and stirred by the city’s ailing style sense, we sat down with 60 leading fashion gurus, stylists, fashion bloggers and fashion-forward celebrities to study the most dreaded fashion faux pas that Delhiites commit. On the basis of their opinion, we conjured 11 different characters to represent the most common fashion offenders.
To give them a face, we ‘unfashioned’ a usually stylish HT City team and turned them into the fashion duds that you see on top of this page. Of course, the team went with the idea kicking and screaming initially, but soon everyone gave in sportingly and joined the fun.
What’s in it for you?
Everyday for the next 11 days, you will see an HT City staffer dressed up as a fashion offender on this page, giving you insight into how never to dress up. There will be loads of expert fashion advice and quick fixes to save you from being fashion sobs, and we’ll also applaud those of you who know their fashion basics well.
