Round up the curls
Curls can look good if styled properly. For longer hair, invest in a lot of patience, conditioner and styling gel. To define your curls, comb your hair with a wide-tooth comb while it’s still wet. Apply a dollop of styling gel, taking care to not open the curls. Closely chopped curls are low maintenance and stylish. This hairstyle does not require you to even comb your hair. You can just smooth over some mousse for a glossy look.

Edge in the undercut
One of the most popular hair trends this year is the undercut. For a short undercut, ask your barber to closely trim the sides and leave the hair on top longer. This style looks best when the top hair has a lot of volume, so go easy on the hairspray. If you want a bolder look, then rock the side undercut by closely trimming or shaving off the hair on one side.

A no-fuss comb over
Want a no-fuss hairstyle? Start with applying styling cream through your hair and then combing it. Now divide your hair with a side parting and comb each side. For a wet look, apply gel before parting the hair and then comb. To get a natural matte finish, spray hairspray on a brush and gently comb through the top layers of the hair.

Quirk up the Coiff
Channel your inner Elvis with this retro hairstyle. This style takes a considerable amount of time, it’s not for the ones who lack patience. Apply gel or mousse to towel-dried hair and comb the hair forward. Then blow dry your hair while raking it to one side and then backwards, using your fingers to lift it up and roll the tips. After getting the desired shape, apply hairspray to hold the style in place.

Faux Dreadlocks
Faking dreadlocks requires a lot of time, patience and at least shoulder-length hair. First, mark a centre parting. Tie up one section and apply strong hold styling gel generously on the loose hair. Now take a strand of hair (depending on how thick you want it) and twist it till it sticks together. Let it dry for a few seconds, and then back comb it a bit. Apply hairspray and repeat the steps till your head is filled with fake dreads. To remove them, while washing, just allow a conditioner to saturate your hair first, then use a wide tooth comb to gently go through the tangles. Shampoo, condition again and then rinse off.
