The 64th annual Emmy Awards was predictable on trophy winners but unpredicatble as far as fashion is concerned — as a host of actors turned up in the new red of moment, blue.

Held at the Nokia Centre in Los Angeles, it saw actors Sofia Vergara, Zooey Deschanel, Archie Panjabi all in different shades of blue.

Others to sport the royal colour were names such as Nicole Kidman and Julianne Hough among others. Vergara’s show Modern Family won the best comedy award.
