Fashion icon Donatella Versace says she would love to dress up Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Versace wants to start off by advising Clinton to star away from suits, avoid red and just ignore thick heels, reports pagesix.com.

She said: "I would suggest her not to do too many suits, because they make her look hard. Little dresses, not too stiff. There would be some jersey dresses, not too light, but I think she needs big colours because she's a blonde like I am."

She added that Clinton does get it right sometimes and she should distinguish between sexy and cute.

Versace believes Clinton looks best in "a good shade of blue, deep, deep purple, but no pastel and no reds. Very small heels, not thin, and black sheer stockings".
