This time at the WIFW, everyone ranging from the models to the media to the visitors, had an opinion about everything and anything. From the venue to the food to the loos, there were animated discussion left right and centre. So, we decided to give the designers a chance to share their take on this week. And from the looks of it, WIFW SS’10, it seems, passed with an A.
Talking business: “I liked the fact that there were such a major representation not only from the international, but also the domestic buyers as well. Business-wise, it has been an excellent week, especially from the domestic aspect. I also enjoyed watching the shows this time around,” says designer Gaurav Gupta.
Venue-wise: “The venue was great, spacious, aptly air-conditioned and clean,” Gupta added. Great business and an amazing venue; besides some designers even had a gala time with the ‘fun’ quotient at this fashion week.
Lounging in: Designer Reynu Taandon says, “I enjoyed spending some time in the lounges. I especially loved the gold Chivas lounge.”
Question time: “The fashion quiz on Day 2 was such an amazing concept, I think it should be made a regular feature. It helped us to bond, while destressing with fun and insightful questions about fashion. Quiz master Gautam Bhimani made the session very interactive and fun. I enjoyed participating in it.”
