HT City contacted Pratik Sen, director, Mindscapes (which had a different name earlier), and he said, “This is just to get media attention. It was Yudhajit Dutta, one of our ex-directors, who negotiated with Elite for costing and models. He had not kept the board in the loop. We were excessively overcharged by Elite.” When contacted, Yudhojit Dutta, said, “I am not working with Mindscapes any more. And the money has to be paid by the Mindscapes Maestro, not me.”

In this fight, the sufferers are the poor models who have not been paid. “It is very unfair of them to not pay me my due. If there were problems, they should have sorted it out and not let models suffer unnecessarily,” says model Krishna Somani, who walked the ramp.
