WIFW: chic start, party glam end for day 3

Day 3 kickstarted with breezy silhouettes, spring florals, and had a cocktail glam ending.

Pragati Maidan continued to be abuzz with ramp action as Wills Lifestyle India fashion Week entered its third day.

Niket-Jainee, Pratima Pandey and Rajdeep Ranawat showed first, with not much to write home about. On the other hand, young guns Ruchika Sachdeva, Jenjum Gadi and Mrinalini left us impressed.

While Ruchika stuck to androgynous styling, we loved Gadi’s insect prints. We also digged Payal Pratap’s play with florals and Sanchita’s patent leather look — clearly not made for a faint-hearted fashionista!

The day ended with Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna’s collection: a glamour one with rows full of cheering models and designers.

The duo's collection was a melee of shimmer and simple silhouettes with duo-toned sequins, gauzy fabrics, thigh high slits and asymmetrical hemlines for these masters of glam. We loved the abstract prints on the dresses due to the fusion of different textured sequins.
