Highlight Story

The first ever Van Huesan Men's Fashion Week is about to hit the floors, with a range of menswear assortment by young Delhi-based designer Rajvi Mohan. What more fascinating than to have a woman designer at a men's show! It's a pure fun summer collection, says the young designer. Srishti Jha catches up with her during the busy hour of fitting sessions.

What do you think about this first ever men's fashion week taking place in India?
I am very thrilled about this fashion week. It's a great prospect as I primarily design for men. I am really looking forward to it. This has given us yet another platform to showcase our creations.

You made your debut at the Delhi Fashion Week, which was a grand success. What are your expectations from this fashion week?
I have given my best so far and will continue to do that. All I want is to show the best and have a grand show.

You are known for grunge-sporting designs and neutral colors. What are we getting to see this year?
This year it's in essence a fun collection. Quite summery and light in fashion. All in all an interesting collection.

You are the one of the two female designers participating in this men's fashion week. What is your take on this?
It feels good. I have been doing this for the last couple of years. We are totally taking pleasure in doing this.

This time there is some contest announced for the designers in which the top three designers will get something quite rewarding. Do you think you will make it?
What can I say? Let's hope for the best.
