Lohri: some fashion tips

Get into your best Punjabi mode with neo-ethnic fashion and delicious food for the festival.

Don’t let the winter chill freeze your stylish steps as you head out to celebrate Lohri with friends and family. To stay true to the festival, drape yourself in vibrant hues by teaming a salwaar kameez or kurta with a phulkari dupatta, silk scarve, waistcoast or  quilted jacket.

For an ethnic twist to your desi outfit, pair coloured, shiny satin leggings with embroidered woollen kurtas or kaftans.
Not just girls, guys too, can quirk up their staple salwaar kurta or sherwani for the occasion. Accessorise a snug waistcoat with a chunky kada or an Ek Omkar pendant and you are all set to shimmy the night away.
