What is your daily and weekly gymming routine?

I try and do 30-45 min of cardio everyday and if time permits I mix it up with yoga or weight training.

Do you prefer yoga or working out in the gym?

I like both. Lately I love hot yoga- since I can’t go to hot yoga in India I wear a sweat suit to try and create that same feeling.

Which other forms of exercise are you into?

I try and mix it up always. In this trip back to India, I’m really into spinning and yoga together. But I always mix it up.

What is your daily diet? Do you have a special chef to make this for you? How do you manage when travelling?

I have a cook in India who makes amazing healthy meals for me. He comes in the morning and makes me food for the day. I give him recipes that I find interesting and healthy and he makes it. Since I have found a cook here in Mumbai, it’s made dieting a lot easier. When I’m traveling, I try really hard to eat as good as possible.

Do you have a fixed sleeping and getting up time?

I wish I did but schedule doesn’t allow it. I work all hours and days without breaks. So I sleep when I can.

Is waking up easy for you or do you have to set a dozen alarms?

I set one alarm and I like getting up in the morning. My favourite meal is breakfast and a cup of coffee so it’s easy to wake up.

You must be attending lots of parties and events- so how do you manage to maintain a healthy diet when you shall be eating out most of the time?

Every menu has healthy options it’s just about making the right choices.

Do you ever indulge in cakes, chocolates or junk food once in a while? Or is it an iron clad diet?

Yes I do. It’s too difficult not to cheat here and there. But most of the time I’m good.

What are your beauty tips for looking so stunning all the time?

It’s all about eating well and taking the time to take care of yourself. Always wash your face before bed and drink as much water as possible. Exercise is important because it increases your endorphins, which makes you happy. One should do everything in moderation and take out time for yourself each day. And yes, invest in an Aloe Vera plant for the best face mask in the world!

How do you keep your hair healthy?

Ever since I switched to ‘It’s a 10’ serum and leave my hair in the conditioner, I don’t have split ends anymore. I love it and I also purchase products that are organic and don’t have harsh chemicals. Most commercial products have things in them that are not healthy for your scalp or hair. So take the time to read the labels on the bottles and buy organic products.
