In order to celebrate Messi’s landmark of 500 goals for the club, Barcelona released a touching tribute video, recalling the first occasion he scored a senior team goal for the club, twelve years back.
The goal came 12 years back in 2005 against Albacete. The video touched upon how the-then Argentine starlet didn’t seem bothered by being adjudged offside after scoring what would have been his first goal.
Instead, the youngster went on to score a very similar goal, lobbing the ball over the goalkeeper, to open his goal-scoring account.
