The transfer deadline day is one of the most exciting days of the year for football fans and this year was no exception.
There were several bizarre deals before the summer transfer window deadline ended on Wednesday with David Luiz making a high-profile return to Chelsea and controversial striker Mario Balotelli ending his Premier League misery by joining Ligue 1 side Nice on loan.
These moves were followed by Arsenal injury-prone midfielder Jack Wilshere moving to Bournemouth, and these moves alone were enough to produce some hilarious posts on Twitter.
