Football legend and Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane was roped in on Wednesday by Kanakia Group Private Limited to endorse its upcoming project in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, titled Kanakia Paris.
It is a unique project that aims to recreate a Parisian experience for customers. The project will bring to life the essence of Paris, namely art, romance, architecture, monuments, fashion and food, fully immersing residents in the Parisian way of life.
The deal was stitched together by India’s leading sports marketing company, Professional Management Group (PMG), which has created associations between Indian brands and international footballers such as Lothar Matthaus and Ruud Gullit in the past.
Speaking on the association, Melroy D’souza, COO of PMG said, “We are delighted to have played a key role in bringing two great brands together. Zinedine Zidane is a world-class athlete and Kanakia Group has been creating world class housing for more than two decades. We didn’t look beyond Zidane as he is undoubtedly the perfect icon for this association.”
Zidane, who guided France to the 1998 World Cup triumph, said, “It’s a pleasure to be associated with the Kanakia Group Pvt Ltd and thank PMG for bringing us together.”
