City-based mobile manufacturer Celkon Mobiles on Friday unveiled 'Millennium Vogue Q455' priced at Rs. 7,999, saying this is the slimmest smartphone in the country.
The company also stated it is planning to come out with over half a dozen products in the `Millennium' smartphone series in the next fortnight.
Tennis star Sania Mirza launched the 'Millennium Vogue Q455' model.
"We aim to sell 1 lakh handsets of this model in one month. Already, we have got 20,000 pre-bookings," said Celkon Chairman and Managing Director Y Guru at the launch event.
"We are coming up with more products in the Millennium series and plan to launch at least 7 more phones in the next 15 days in the range of Rs. 4,500 to Rs. 12,000," he said.
"We have launched the new Millennium Vogue Q455.
Despite being the slimmest with 7.9 mm thickness amongst the Indian smartphone brands, it is packed with a 2000mAH battery.
The Kit Kat-based Vogue comes with 1.2 GHz Quad Core CORTEX A7 processor," Guru said.
