On Thursday Amazon rolled out its Appstore across Europe.
Amazon's Appstore was launched August 30 across the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. The Appstore gives users access to Amazon's Android apps which range from games such as "Cut The Rope" to recipe books like "Jamie Oliver's 20 Minute Meals".
Once users download Amazon's Appstore and sign in with their Amazon account they will also receive personalized product recommendations and have the option to purchase items using Amazon's one click payment system.
After being launched successfully in America, the roll-out of Amazon's app store can be seen as a continued expansion by the company into a marketplace currently dominated by Apple and Google.
