Five Bluetooth headsets for wireless listening anywhere

Now that Bluetooth technology comes with a wide range of smartphones and music players, there's no reason to be tied down and tangled up with wires. Here is a selection of five portable and comfortable Bluetooth headsets.

Beats Studio Wireless

The wireless version of the popular Beats Studio headset has all the features of the original, including adaptive noise canceling (ANC) and a rechargeable battery. Bluetooth enables a range of up to 30 feet (9 meters) from the audio source. Designed for music lovers, the Beats Studio Wireless can of course also be used for phone calls.

Parrot Zik 2.0

Developed with French designer Philippe Starck, the second generation of Parrot's Bluetooth headset boasts NFC connectivity and noise cancelation. The a touch control panel on the right ear pad allows the wearer to adjust the volume, skip tracks, take a phone call or launch a voice-controlled assistant on a smartphone, all at the touch of a finger. Using motion detectors, the headset automatically stops the music when it is lowered around the neck and starts it up again once the headphones are returned to the ears.

The Parrot Zik 2.0 is available for $399.99.

Sennheiser MM 550-X Travel

This ultra-portable Bluetooth headset by Sennheiser combines comfort and a high standard of audio quality. Though the device has a noise-canceling mode, it also offers the TalkThrough feature, which lets the wearer pause the music and hear outside noise without taking off the headphones. Another advantage of the Sennheiser MM 550-X Travel is its folding design, which makes it easy to carry everywhere.

Bose QuietComfort 25

Bose packed all its audio quality expertise into this new Bluetooth headset, which combines the Active EQ and TriPort technologies with advanced noise canceling solutions designed to filter out all types of sounds. The device has a particularly refined design and operates with a single AA battery, which enables around 35 hours of listening.

The Bose QuietComfort 25 is available for $299.99.

Jabra Sport Pulse

The only in-ear headphones in this selection, the Jabra Sport Pulse is also the only option that doubles as a fitness tracker. Thanks to a built-in heart rate monitor, athletes can track the intensity of their cardio workout while listening to music. With a battery life of 10 days in standby mode or five hours of audio play, the device is operated through the Jabra Sport Life mobile app.

The Jabra Sport Pulse is priced at $199.99.
