Today, Google doodle has transformed itself into a montage of cubist images to mark the 125th birth anniversary of legendary cubist painter Juan Gris.
The colorful doodle features musical instruments, notations and other cubist imagery from the artist.
Juan Gris was born as José Victoriano González-Pérez in Madrid on March 23, 1887 and he went on to study mechanical drawing at the Escuela de Artes y Manufacturas in his birth city.
While Cubism was developed by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, Gris revolutionized the style with his innovate visual style. Some of his famous works are Guitar and Pipe, Glass of Beer and Playing Cards
This is not the first time that Google is paying homage to a painter. The famous Google doodle have been created to honour Vincet van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Leonardo da Vinci.
