HP has added new ultrabooks and a pair of sleekbooks to its ever-expanding portfolio of thin laptops. The new HP ENVY notebooks come equipped with various new features.
The company introduced new ultrabooks that are thinner and lighter than their predecessors, and also unveiled a pair of Sleekbooks.
HP's notebook portfolio now includes the HP ENVY SpectreXT, HP ENVY Sleekbooks, HP ENVY Ultrabook and HP EliteBook Folio.
According to the HP's official website, "The HP Spectre XT measures 14.5 millimeters thin, weighs 3.07 pounds and includes a 13.3-inch HD diagonal display with a slim bezel line. It also includes 128 GB of solid state storage and up to eight hours of battery life. Powered by the latest Intel Core™ processors. The ultrabook also includes Intel Smart Connect Technology which automatically updates email while the notebook is in sleep mode.
All the HP ENVY notebooks come equipped with Beats Audio, a high-performance technology which delivers big sound in a small package. It also features HP CoolSense technology which automatically adjusts performance and internal fan settings for a noticeably cooler PC. Another new feature is HP Imagepad which allows multifinger touch and gesture navigation.
While the new Sleekbooks sport very similar features to the ultrabooks, they are available at comparatively cheaper price.
