Homegrown handset maker Intex launched its new 3G- enabled smartphone 'Aqua 3G' in the country, priced at Rs. 3,555.
The device features a four-inch screen, 1 GHz dual core processor, 2MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 1400 mAh battery and is powered by Android's JellyBean operating system.
With a 256 MB RAM, the device has a 512 MB ROM as well as 12.25 MB built-in memory (expandable up to to 32 GB).
"There has been a vast majority of country’s users who are migrating to smartphones from feature phones, it has become imperative for the industry to match the needs of tech savvy customers in India," Intex Business Head (Mobiles) Sanjay Kumar Kalirona said.
