Lenovo goes on an overdrive, expands smartphone range

In its effort to consolidate its presence in the Indian market, Chinese technology major Lenovo announced on Thursday that it is expanding its smartphone range with the launch of the K3 Note. The phone will be available in an exclusive partnership with Flipkart at a price of Rs 9,999.

The new smartphone, which is 4G LTE enabled, comes with a 1.7Ghz octacore processor with a 2GB RAM packed with the support of a T760 ARM Mali GPU for games.

It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with OmniVision Pure Cell image sensor for better photography and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

The device is powered by a 3,000 mAH, will start selling from July 2 after the registration phase is over.

Lenovo did not comment on the number of devices that would be sold on the first day.
