It’s been a couple of months since you started college and by now you must be well on your way to cramming for that first big test. Quirky is the new cool, so this semester, don’t be shy to flaunt that side of you during exams. Let these resources help you along the way.

Evernote
Ditch the single-ruled notebooks and Pilot pens, and take notes on your laptop using this application. “The advantage with Evernote is that you can sync your files to the web and access them through your phone or on any other computer,” says Liz Thatchet, a law student. Evernote not only lets you compile different notes and pictures in the form of notebooks, but also lets you record audio files from college lectures, and take instant snapshots from your phone, which are automatically synced to the web.

BucketBolt
This website offers a 10% discount on all textbooks and what’s even better is that at the end of the year, they are ready to buy the books back from you.
“Suppose you buy a textbook that costs R100, we will buy it back from you for R60 at the end of the academic year. We then sell the book second hand, at a further discounted price,” says Paras Maru, co-founder, BucketBolt.

SparkNotes and Cliffnotes
Shakespeare? No fear. If you are an arts student looking to decipher the thous, thys and whereforths that the Bard wrote, then salvation lies within these websites. You will also find study guides on other literary syllabus staples like The Great Gatsby, The Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mocking Bird etc. Homework help for economics, maths, science and quizzes are also available.

Wipro Campus Arena
