ZTE has unveiled the Nubia X6, a high-end phablet with a 6.44-inch screen, state-of-the-art components and a front camera with a record-breaking 13MP resolution. The latter feature reflects a wider trend towards higher quality front-facing cameras in response to the growing popularity of selfies.
Underneath its 6.44-inch screen (1920x1080 pixels), the ZTE Nubia X6 has a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash, and a 13MP front camera. The phablet is available in three different storage configurations ranging from 32GB to 128GB.
This dual-SIM model is compatible with the various 4G/LTE networks. The Nubia X6 is currently available in China for CNY 3,000 (around $480), an extremely competitive price considering its high-end components. The manufacturer has not announced whether it plans to launch the model in additional markets.
