City boy Ranveer Saini, 12, is an inspiration for many children who suffer from autism. An autistic student of Scottish High International School in Gurgaon, Saini won two gold medals at the Asia Pacific Special Olympics Golf Masters Tournament held at Macau between April 22 and 27.

City boy Ranveer Saini, 12, is an inspiration for many children who suffer from autism. An autistic student of Scottish High International School in Gurgaon, Saini won two gold medals at the Asia Pacific Special Olympics Golf Masters Tournament held at Macau between April 22 and 27.

Nearly 100 golfers from 14 countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia, China, Malaysia and others participated in the coveted contest but Saini proved his mettle.

On the basis of his performance at Macau, he has now got a wild card entry to the World Special Olympics to be held in Los Angeles in 2015. Saini is an all-rounder with multiple interests and abilities. A talented pianist and vocalist, Saini is also a good horse rider and his hobbies include cooking.
