The management of Maruti Suzuki has decided to organise a havan and prayer meeting at the Manesar plant on Sunday, a day before partial resumption of operations at the factory and visit by Suzuki chairman from Japan.

The officials included Haryana DGP RS Dalal, Gurgaon police commissioner KK Sindhu, Haryana labour commissioner Satwant Ahalawat, MSIL chief operating officer (administration) SY Siddiqui among others.
As many as 500 police personnel have already been deployed on the factory premises.

Security stepped up
Gurgaon police commissioner KK Sindhu issued fresh instructions to the police on the security angle with special emphasis on workers' unrest. He also asked the police to remain alert and keep a check on any protest by workers. "If any worker or management complains to the police, action should be taken immediately," Sindhu said.
DCPs of all three zones were asked to increase night patrolling.
