The Haryana Government and the British Council have decided to work together in the field of higher education to strengthen the education system in the state.

This was disclosed by education minister Geeta Bhukkal after her return from London where she led a high-level delegation on a ten-day study tour to strengthen collaboration between Haryana and the British Council.

Bhukkal said that initially the collaboration with British Council had been made for only eight schools in the state. But it is now extended to 100 more schools.

Bhukkal said that the aim was to study the education system in London and to apprise the British Council about Haryana's education system.
