Burglars decamp with cash, goods worth lakhs

In separate incidents, thieves struck at three different places and decamped with cash worth lakhs, jewellery and other goods. Police have registered cases against unidentified persons in all the incidents.

One Gautam Chaudhary of Saini Khera complained that thieves had decamped with machinery worth lakhs meant to be used in power projects.

Also, Ajay Arora, a resident of Ardee City, complained at the Sushant Lok police station that while he had left his house in the morning of May 31, thieves decamped with jewellery worth lakhs and other items.

When he returned home, he claimed, he found the locks broken and his belongings missing.

In another incident, one Amit of Lakshman Vihar lodged a complaint with the police that thieves broke into his house and stole jewellery, a laptop and cash.

Meanwhile, Joginder Narayan Maheshwari, a resident of Sector 4, complained that two bike-borne youths had snatched her purse carrying R14,000 and some important documents.

There was also a complaint lodged by Varun Nath, a resident of DLF-I, who claimed that his driver Mohit, a resident of Bulandshahr, had gone missing with his Toyota Etios car a couple of days ago.

In a similar case, Mitar Pal Singh of Jharsa lodged a complaint at the Kherki Duala police station saying that his driver Ajit, also from Bulandshahr, had disappeared with his Maruti Swift car on Friday.
