Unidentified men fled with an automated teller machine (ATM) installed at Hero Honda Chowk near Sector 10A on Friday.
The HDFC bank ATM, located on the service lane between Hero Honda Chowk on the Delhi- Gurgaon Expressway and Khandsa Road, had Rs 91,000.
According to the Gurgaon police, the accused also stole the CCTV camera that was installed in the ATM. However, the police are trying to retrieve the CCTV footage from the bank.
Assistant commissioner of police (crime) Rajesh Kumar said the security guard deployed at the ATM on Friday had locked the shutters and gone to sleep. When he returned, he found the locks broken, following which he informed the nearby police station.
