According to the complaint, the two — Karunakar Kishor Gupta of Sector 9, Rohini, New Delhi and Darpan Agarwal of Khushbu Pragati Vihar, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh — worked with a Gurgaon-based research and data analytics company services from 2010 to 2016.

The alleged leak came to light last November when the firm’s CEO received an email, which was also marked to several others, containing allegations against the company.

“The e-mail contained allegations about senior management of the company collecting money from fellow employees and then bribing police officials. There were also three links of YouTube videos attached in the email, regarding the same,” the complaint stated.

Gupta, who was assistant vice president, had complete access to CCTV footage of the company and the email received by the CEO was sent from the mobile phone that was used by him, alleged the complainant.

The complaint also stated that the three videos uploaded on YouTube were shot in 2014 when Gupta was in charge and Aggarwal, the manager.

The case against the two, filed at Sadar police station on Tuesday, has been registered under sections 407, 417, 500, 501 and 120B of the IPC and sections 66, 66B, 72 and 72A of the IT Act.

“We have lodged a FIR in this regard. We received the complaint from the Cyber Cell and will investigate further,” said inspector Vijay Kumar, station house officer (SHO), Sadar police station.
