Manoj Bakarwala, 36, who was arrested on Monday by Delhi Police is also wanted in a number of carjacking cases in Gurgaon.
The city police on Tuesday said they would also take part in Bakarwal’s interrogation on Wednesday.
Bakarwala is on a 10-day police remand with Delhi Police. Police officials said they would later bring him to Gurgaon. Bakarwala, who had a penchant for luxury cars, was suspected to be involved in many carjacking incidents in Gurgaon. Cases were registered against him in Sushant Lok, Palam Vihar and DLF City Phase 2 police stations.
On Tuesday, a team of city Police left for Delhi to join the probe.
Maheshwar Dayal, DCP (east), says, “On Wednesday, our team would join Delhi Police for the interrogation. After his remand is over, we will bring him to Gurgaon.”
